Introduction

Founded in 1965, Friedman Industries is a leading manufacturer and processor of metal products.

The company operates a total of eight facilities within the United States including metal processing, distribution and the production of pipe and tube. We have seven flat-rolled coil processing facilities, producing hot-rolled sheet and plate in thicknesses from 16 gauge to 1 inch and widths ranging from 36 to 96 inches. Our Century Metals facility in Miami, FL, also provides slitting and cut-to-length services for cold-rolled, coated, stainless, along with non-ferrous products such as aluminum and brass. Our facilities in Hickman, AR; Granite City, IL; and East Chicago, IN are equipped with temper mills and cut-to-length lines, while our Decatur, AL and Sinton, TX locations feature advanced stretcher-leveler cut-to-length technology. The tubular division, based in Lone Star, TX, operates two API-licensed electric resistance welded pipe mills, producing pipes with outside diameters from 2 3/8 inches to 8 5/8 inches. Publicly traded since 1972, Friedman Industries is listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol FRD.
